V2V Solution Architecture for Corporate Services Transition

I was the lead and solution architect responsible for the successful transition of BHP corporate applications and services between IBM and Accenture for IBM’s managed services exit.

Specifically I was responsible for seamless transition of IBM services, whether contracted or not. This included understanding all aspects of the ‘actual’ service being supplied and the new incumbent supplier’s (Accenture), service description and model. I was responsible for gap and risk identification, communication and solution.

I was the technical lead across all IBM technical teams; architecture, applications development and support, infrastructure support including hosting, server, database, voice and network.

I was required to and responsible for:
•    Collation and technical sign-off of all knowledge transfer documentation;
•    Service gap analysis;
•    Facilitating knowledge transfer workshops in Melbourne, Bangalore and Pune;
•    Systems access and management solution transition;
•    Technical planning for service transition cut-overs; and
•    Supervision and resolution of all technical escalations.
